Electric Cooling Fan for family and dogs
RESEARCH
In the research, we found that the dog owners consider safety as the most important issue, as dogs might pee on the fan and bite the wire, and the fan might fall during the movement of the dog. The cooling experience is also considered, as the fan maybe be able to cool the dogs. Also, space could be reduced as it occupies too much space in off-seasons.
BACKGROUND
Most of the pet owners in Hong Kong own dogs and cats. 70% of them own more than one fan. However, in the process of using the fan with pets, the owners found that there are different problems occurs. In this project, dog-owning families are the targets.

SOLUTIONS
-No traditional stand and base
-The cover could be removed for cleaning

FEATURE
-Height adjustment
-Retractable rod: suitable length
-Flexible cable: bend into a different angle
-The cable of fan would flow with the wall
ADJUSTABLE ROD
The adjustable rod could help the users for adjusting to fit different positions, and able to bend into different angles.
EASY CLEANING
The buttons of the fan are changed into a touch screen control panel, to make it easier to clean and prevent water and dust leaking in it.
